In the days leading up to The Steel Conference, you will most likely receive fraudulent solicitations. Offerings of discounted hotel rooms often are scams. Our official and only housing partner, MCI USA, offers rooms at discounted block rates, as detailed below. MCI will never solicit by phone; however, you may receive an email from nascc@mcievents.com notifying you that the hotel reservation system is open and inviting you to secure your rooms.

As a general rule, anyone who solicits your business without providing a contact phone number or an active website is probably not legit. Look for spelling and grammatical errors and unusual characters in brand names or email addresses. When in doubt, check them out; contact nascc@aisc.org for help.​
