REGISTRATION AND HOUSING
Please be aware that spam callers are active; stay vigilant!
Fraudsters are contacting exhibitors and, in some cases, referencing their booth numbers, claiming their registrations are not finalized, asking them to confirm updates, stating their profiles are incomplete, or urging them to book hotel rooms before they sell out.
Registration and our hotel reservation system will open on January 26. Our conference's exclusive providers are listed below. They will not call you, so do not reply to fraudulent solicitations and block them when possible.
Exposition products and services provider: Freeman
Hotel provider: MCI USA (MCI)
Registration provider: CompuSystems (CSI), soon to be rebranded as Event Citadel
As part of our show services, we offer an exclusive registration portal unique to your company. Exhibitors should not register via the attendee registration site. Your booth’s primary contact will receive an email from donotreply@compusystems.com with instructions. Primary contacts and authorized Exhibitor Resource Center users may also access your company’s registration portal as follows:
Log in to your Exhibitor Resource Center
Navigate to the Register Booth Personnel tile and select Register Now to access your exhibitor registration dashboard and register your onsite team members.
Need assistance registering? Please email Event Citadel at nascc@csreg.zohodesk.com or call 224.563.3127.
Exhibitors are entitled to three complimentary registrations for the first 100 square feet of exhibit space, and one complimentary registration for each additional 100 square feet of exhibit space. Sponsors typically receive additional complimentary registrations. All other persons from your exhibiting company will be charged a discounted registration fee of $105 per person.
The complimentary exhibitor registrations and the discounted $105 exhibitor registrations include the following:
Access to the Exhibit Hall before and after hours
Entrance to all functions held in the Exhibit Hall (coffee and snack breaks, lunches, and Welcome Reception)
Entrance to Elevate Reception
Entrance to all technical sessions
Admission to NASCC Online
Note: Conference Dinner passes are not included in exhibitor registrations but can be purchased separately.
Click here for hotel information and to make your reservations today. Our official and only housing partner, MCI USA, offers rooms at discounted block rates. They will not solicit you by phone, so please beware of fraudulent solicitations. When in doubt, check them out; contact nascc@aisc.org for help. For the best availability and rates, book by March 30. After this date, there will be limited availability through April 14.
Click here to download a travel visa invitation letter for exhibiting personnel traveling internationally. The letter does not guarantee admittance into the U.S., but it can provide compelling evidence for immigration officials to consider. Please note that AISC cannot intervene with U.S. embassies abroad or with the U.S. State Department on behalf of any participant.
RESOURCES
Primary exhibitor contacts can access the Exhibitor Resource Center, which houses all the information and links you need to prepare for The Steel Conference. Click here and enter your email address to receive a link to set your password. If you require assistance logging in, please contact renae@gurthetmedia.com.
Our official exhibitor services provider, Freeman, has assembled a comprehensive online exhibitor services manual. The manual contains information about show rules and regulations, exhibit installation and dismantling, shipping, and order forms for booth products and services.
Pro tip 1: Use Quick Facts to understand the basics and get started.
Pro tip 2: Place orders with Freeman by March 23 to take advantage of advance-order discount rates.
Booth equipment: Each 10' x 10' booth includes an 8' high black back drape and 3' high black side drapes. Booths 300 sq. ft. or less will receive a one-line identification sign. Booths larger than 300 sq. ft. may receive an identification sign upon request.
Carpet: The exhibit hall is not carpeted, and exhibitors must cover their booth’s entire floor space. You may rent carpet or alternative flooring from Freeman or use your own, as long as it covers your entire floor space and no concrete is visible. All aisles outside the Bridge Pavilion will be carpeted in tuxedo (a black-and-gray mixture). The aisle within the Bridge Pavilion will be carpeted in standard blue.
Electricity: Booths do not include electrical service. If your exhibit requires it, please place your order with Edlen Electrical Exhibition Services, the official and only electrical provider.
Wi-Fi: Complimentary internet is not available in the exhibit hall, so if you need internet service, plan to use your own hotspot or MiFi device or make arrangements with CCLD Networks, the official and only internet service provider at the Georgia World Congress Center.
As the premier educational and networking event for the structural steel industry, the Steel Conference presents a prime opportunity for exhibitors to host meetings or events. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity as long as your meeting or event does not occur during exhibit hall hours (see schedule above).
The list of registered conference participants is provided to exhibitors and sponsors 30 days prior to the conference, two weeks prior to the conference, and approximately 45 days after the conference has ended.
Note: At the time of registration, participants are given the chance to opt-out of being included on such lists.
Contact Renae Gurthet at renae@gurthetmedia.com or 231.995.0637 with questions.
In the days leading up to The Steel Conference, you will most likely receive fraudulent solicitations. Offerings of discounted hotel rooms or booth products and services oftentimes are scams. Our official and only housing partner is MCI USA. Our official provider for exposition products and services is Freeman. Neither MCI nor Freeman will solicit you by phone. Do not buy the attendee list. No one but an official NASCC delegate has it, and we'll provide the official list to exhibitors free of charge.
As a general rule, anyone who solicits your business without providing a contact phone number or an active website is probably not legit.
Be on the lookout for spelling and grammatical errors and unusual characters in brand names or email addresses.
When in doubt, check them out; contact renae@gurthetmedia.com or nascc@aisc.org for help.
